We're wrapping up our 2026 Entrepreneur in Residence program with a final session on launching your business. We'll map the real funding landscape for a new business in Ontario — startup loans, microloans, grants, sponsorship and revenue-based approaches — and cover what each one requires, so you don't waste months applying to the wrong thing. You'll learn how to present your business to a funder, and where to find free ongoing support once the series ends. We'll close with the accountability habits that keep a new business moving.

The program includes a short networking component, providing participants with an opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs.

Presented by Ryan Knight, TPL's 2026 Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Toronto Reference Library.
