Lessons from Home to “Here”

A panel of newcomer professionals, moderated by Entrepreneur in Residence (Newcomer Focus), Jean Chow, will share their successful journey from their life at “home” to their new home. What are their lessons learned as newcomer entrepreneurs where they can now give back to their new home and community?
In this session:

• Be inspired by established newcomer entrepreneurs.
• Gain motivation to work on your business and not in your business.
• Understand and overcome barriers unique to newcomer entrepreneurs

Come early to network from 6-6:30pm!

Presented by Jean Chow, TPL's Fall 2026 Newcomer Entrepreneur in Residence (NEIR) at Fort York branch.
