Red Hat Extends the Spirit of Giving!

It is that time of year again and Red Hat is extending the spirit of giving to our Toronto RHUG folk.

This meetup will be a hands-on workshop. The intent of the workshop is to get you access to the No-Cost Red Hat Enterprise Linux Developer Subscription and also get you access to 10 Free Trial entitlements to Red Hat Insights.

We will kick-off the session with a demo of Red Hat Insights, for those who just want to watch me do all the work, and then we will move on to the hands-on workshop.

Gerald Nunn, Red Hat SA, will also be on hand to give us an Overview on OpenShift and the Container development Kit as well (another free thing!).

For those of you who might be asking what is Red Hat Insights; Red Hat Insights provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based operations analytics, enabling customers to proactively manage their evolving IT environments. Red Hat Insights analyzes IT infrastructure against Red Hat’s constantly expanding Knowledgebase to provide real-time assessment for risks related to performance, availability, stability, and security.

As a prereq; we can work with Windows, Mac, or Linux as a laptop, you will need to have admin rights to be able to have the most fun at this event.
