Hello fellow Toronto Strobists, and welcome to Introduction to Off-Camera Flash.

When: Saturday, May 7th, 2016, 1pm - 3pm

Where: St. James Park (King St E. between Jarvis & Church Sts)

How much: $65 including HST , $35 deposit required to secure your spot with, balance due before start of workshop. Balance of payment should be made prior to arriving at workshop or have cash on-hand for $30 balance.

Who should attended: All who are new & wish to learn about off camera flash portraiture work.

What can you expect to learn?

  • Introduction to off camera flash setup all the way thru to shooting.
  • Introduction to variety of light modifiers.
  • Working with gels
  • How to use radio triggers to trigger your off camera flashe(s).
  • Working in manual flash mode.
  • Setting & adjusting your flash to best results
  • Limitations of using flash.

Gear required: A DSLR camera with the ability to shoot in Manual mode, with a hotshoe adapter.

Skills required: Ability to use a DLRS in manual mode is preferred. If you haven't shot in manual mode yet, don't let this deter you, we will be going thru some quick settings on the day of to get you started.

A model will be present to help you put your new found knowledge to work. If you have any questions regarding this meet up, please send me either a DM or email.

Spots are limited. Every attendee will have some time to shoot with the on-site model to gain experience with off-camera flash.
