Let's Talk Tech: channels and prediction markets

Let's Talk Tech is a chance to learn about and discuss the concepts that underpin and inform the exciting new field of blockchain technology. A wide variety of related technical disciplines (cryptography, computer science, etc.) are also considered on topic here, to the extent that they relate to the discipline of "cryptoeconomic engineering" (the emerging term for the type of solution creation that blockchain technology exemplifies).

This meetup will include a short presentation on a current technical topic (state channels (http://www.jeffcoleman.ca/state-channels/)) as well as an extended open Q&A session, and is a great way to gain a clearer understanding of blockchain technologies while diving deep into the details with friendly and knowledgeable guides. If it works out, we also plan to have Matt Liston from the Gnosis prediction market project come by and tell us about what they're doing.
