For our last event of 2018, we're partnering up with Toronto-based startup SnapTravel!
Conversational Commerce is ecommerce through emerging conversational channels, such as chat-based messaging apps and voice-controlled devices. This meetup will explore the data engineering and science behind conversational commerce, and the technology, tools and learnings that have powered these new advances.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Yulia Chepurna is a Software Engineer at SnapTravel, a leading conversational commerce startup using ML and NLP to allow hotel booking over messaging. With her Masters degrees in Computer Science and Data Mining, Yulia spent nearly 3 years as a Data Engineer in a big data startup before joining SnapTravel.
Bai Li is a Software and NLP Research Engineer at SnapTravel, concurrently completing his Masters in Computer Science at UofT with a focus on Computational Linguistics. At SnapTravel, Bai supports the team with research, machine learning and natural language processing.
