Join us on our Intro to Canoeing Adventure. The Humber River is the perfect river to learn how to paddle.

At this event we provide you with basic paddling instructions before you launch your canoe. On the water our experienced guides are there to help you as you enjoy the scenic Humber River Adventure. This is a two hour guided adventure designed to make you comfortable in a kayak or canoe on calm water.

The river is a slow moving scenic river that meanders through forest and marsh. On this adventure we see plant and wildlife rarely seen in the city. We see more wildlife on the Humber River then we see on our trips to Algonquin Park. We often see: Canada Geese, Swans, Ducks, White Egrets, Blue Heron, Night Heron, Cormorants, many types of Raptors, Beaver, Mink, Muskrat, Deer, Fox, Coyote, Raccoon, Salmon, Trout, Carp, Bass, Catfish, and many types of Turtles.

RSVP now before all the boats are taken.

Fee: $50 per person + hst OR prepaid coupons + hst.

Note: We only accept cash at the riverside start location.

Directions:

TTC: 5 - 10 Minute Walk From Old Mill Station

Go To Old Mill TTC Subway Station,

which is located at the corner of Bloor Steet West and Old Mill Trail. (west of Jane St.)

• when you exit Old Mill Station

• turn RIGHT on Old Mill Trail,

• at stop sign turn RIGHT n Old Mill Road,

• you will now see the Old Mill Inn & Spa on your right hand side. Do not cross river.

• turn right into Kingsmill Park which is the road leading south next to the Old Mill Inn

• Kingsmill Park is located between the Old Mill Inn and the river, on the same side of the river as the Old Mill Inn.

-Walk or drive into Kingsmill Park and you will see our Guides / Canoes / Kayaks.

• if you take a wrong turn and cannot find us simply phone us 416-536-2067

If Driving: (do not park at Old Mill Inn, pls. park in the free parking lots in Kingsmill Park

1)Go to Maps.Google.Ca and Click “Get Directions” in the top left.

2. Type your location of departure in the A Column and “Kings Mill Park” in the B Column, then click “Get Directions”.

These directions will bring you to Kings MIll Park, as you enter the park you will see us on your left side, you can park in either of the parking lots to your left or right
