Winter Walk Ward Island to Hanlan's Point

12.5 km walk from Ward Island to Hanlan's Point. Saturday March 28, 2026

1 PM meet near Roy Woods restaurant in the food court at Union Station near the York St. entrance.

1 PM to 2 PM: Eat at Union Station food court.

2 PM From Union station, catch the 509 Harbourfront or 510 Spadina streetcars to the Jack Layton Ferry terminal.

Catch the ferry to Ward's Island. Proceed to walk to Hanlan's point. Catch the ferry back to the mainland.

Wear loose fitting winter clothing: coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, thick socks, waterproof thermal lined boots with non slip soles. If necessary put warmers in your gloves and boots. Bring water.
