Community Screening of "Sons" - a National Film Board of Canada documentary

Details
Join us for a thought-provoking evening hosted by the National Film Board of Canada! We’ve been invited to a community screening of Sons, a powerful documentary by Newfoundland-based filmmaker Justin Simms. The film explores modern masculinity through the lens of fatherhood, set against the first five years of Simms' son’s life—from a cooing infant to a whirlwind of a boy. Together, we’ll reflect on an important question: How do we teach our boys to be better men?
📅 When: Thursday, January 23, at 7:00 PM
📍 Where: Centre for Social Innovation – Spadina
192 Spadina Ave., Toronto
🎥 After the Screening: Stick around for a meaningful discussion with filmmaker Justin Simms.
This is a great opportunity to connect with other dads, reflect on our roles as fathers, and engage in a timely conversation about raising boys in today’s world.
