In Person/Remote ElixirTO - March 2022
Details
Hey Toronto Elixir,
2023 is well underway and it's time to meet again!
This meetup will be BOTH in person and online! They hybrid format has been pretty successful so we are very excited to, once agian, bring together local Torontonians and people from all over the world that we met during the online only meetups!
We will be hosted by the gracious folks at 7Shifts, pizza and beverages will also be provided for in-person attendees.
The appointment is for Wednesday March 1st, doors open at 6:30 pm at the 7Shifts Toronto office or online on Zoom https://precisionnutrition.zoom.us/j/91458006256
Talks will start around 7pm.
This evening will be focused on some aspects of Ecto, one of the most popular libraries to work with databases in Elixir!
First Gianni Chiappetta (https://github.com/gf3) is joining us to talk about: "Stripe-style prefixed IDs with Ecto and Phoenix"
Shortly after Max Veytsman (https://github.com/mveytsman) will present: "Ecto Views, Postgres and you"
If you wanna have a chat, look for our community on the #toronto channel of the Elixir Slack https://elixir-slackin.herokuapp.com/
p.s.
Given that this is also a remote event please feel free to extend the invite outside the Toronto community as well! We'll be happy to have you!
