What we’re about
Toronto Prosocial RPG Discord
This is a group for playing tabletop role-playing games with a focus on social and emotional wellness. Sometimes Dungeons & Dragons, sometimes other RPGs.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- [Only Cafe] Let's Learn Daggerheart: Beginner Friendly Dungeons & DragonsThe Only Cafe, Toronto, ONCA$5.00
Newbies are welcome! No experience with Dungeons & Dragons or any other roleplaying games required. Just bring yourself! Pencils, printouts, and dice will be provided.
Daggerheart is a new "classic" version of Dungeons & Dragons. The team behind it, Critical Role, has streamlined it for beginner friendliness and to focus on epic storytelling centred on character development. Daggerheart is very much built around what most folks find fun about DND. The game has settings or "frames," from Delicious in Dungeon to Game of Thrones, Final Fantasy to Dark Souls, Princess Mononoke to Fallout.
This Learn to Play event will start with voting for a setting, then we'll spend 1 hour building the world and making our characters together, and then 1-2 hours playing through an opening scenario.
There is a small signup cost just to prevent no-shows. If you've been to one of my events before, message me and I'll sign you up for free.
Note: The event venue (The Only Cafe) does not have a seating fee, but the purchase of food/drink is expected.
