Get Unstuck With Your Songwriting: The Song Creation Series

Let's meet up, sing, write and discuss songwriting at The Song Creation Series. It's a monthly workshop/meetup with a different topic each month.

We have a two-day Song Creation Workshop coming up (Fall 2016) and a songwriters' camp (Summer 2017). This is an opportunity to get a taste of what we do. You'll have an opportunity to do songwriting exercises, and get meet other songwriters in the area.

All you need to bring is a pen and paper. There's a minimal registration fee to cover the costs of running the workshop. (Bring an instrument if you want to play the open stage afterwards. A keyboard is available for the open stage.)

This is for anyone from beginner (never written a song) to experienced songwriters looking to have some fun and spark their creativity. No instruments required.

Check-in/mingle: 4:30 p.m.

Workshop: 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Stick around after for dinner and the Free Times Cafe Open Stage (running for over 30 years) which I'll be hosting - 7 p.m. sign-up. There's a songwriting contest at the open stage too, for those who want to participate (the prize is recording time).
