Monkeys Connect (the “Organiser”) legally operates under CK Stories GmbH, an outdoor event company registered in Switzerland. Monkeys Connect (the “Organiser”) provides organised activities (the “Events”) to interested individuals (the “Participant”).
By booking or participating in an event, the Participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agrees to the Monkeys Connect Terms and Conditions.

Terms of payment
The full amount has to be paid upon booking.
Cancellation policy
If the Participant cancels his/her booking:
- 30 days prior to the Event start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the Event cost applies.
- Less than 30 days prior to the Event start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the Event cost applies.
The Participant can sell his/her booking to another interested party who meets the fitness requirements of the particular Event. In this case, the Organiser is entitled to an Administration Fee of CHF 30.
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any Event for any reason whatsoever. In the event of cancellation by the Organiser, the Participant will be offered an alternative Event or a full refund. However, this will not apply for cancellations due to force majeure (adverse weather conditions, war, strikes, earthquake, flooding, epidemic, etc). The Participant is responsible to have adequate insurance to cover these circumstances.
Event changes by the Organiser
The Participant is aware that the conduct of outdoor events depends on uncontrollable external factors, particularly weather conditions. In this regard, the Organiser has the full right to change the itinerary prior to or during the Event or to cancel as deemed necessary for reasons of unforeseen circumstances, operational concerns, or concerns for the health, safety, enjoyment, or comfort of the Participants of the Event. Any changes are at the discretion of the Organiser.

Time to try out a new activity! Cross-country skiing is considered one of the healthiest sports. With a little bit of momentum and the use of the poles, almost all muscles of the body are evenly stressed. More than 75 kilometres of skating pistes in Davos Klosters provide boundless variety in a beautiful landscape.
In this 2-hour lesson, you will learn the basics of cross-country skate skiing.
This event is led by Otto van Andel, cross-country skiing instructor.
Event description
Meet Otto at Diethelmpromenade car park (5 min walk from the train station Klosters Platz) at 10:00. The course finishes around 12:00. After the course, you can stay on the cross-country skiing trail and practice the skills you’ve just learnt.
In this course, you will learn:
- Basic equipment handling and balance on skis
- Gliding and weight transfer on one ski
- How to move forward using simple skating steps
- Coordinating arms and legs for efficient movement
- Slowing down and stopping safely
- Getting up after a fall
- Turning and changing direction on flat terrain
- How to go slightly uphill and downhill using the skating technique
Requirements
No previous cross-country skiing experience needed.

If you are traveling by car, you can park at the meeting point directly (Diethelmpromenade car park).

The price for this 2-hour lesson with a certified instructor is CHF 80. This does not include the equipment rental.
Insurance
It is the participant's responsibility to get health and accident insurances that cover mountain rescue, including extreme sports. Becoming a Rega patron is highly recommended (CHF 40 per year only for emergency medical assistance from the air).

Snowshoe walking in the night is almost like a fairy tale, so what could be a better way to spend your Saturday night than with a very nice and easy tour in the moonlight, accompanied by a nice homemade soup, yummy Swiss cheese and a glass of Glühwein? Let yourself enchant and walk through the sparkling starry winter night through the forest of Monbiel.
This event is led by Otto van Andel, international mountain leader.
Event description
Meet Otto at 16:45 at Klosters Monbiel Parkplatz. Easy hike through the forest and in the beautiful surrounding valleys, with some breaks for snacks, dinner and Glühwein. Return to the car park between 21:30 and 22:00 to make sure everyone catches the train.

Approx. 10 km / approx. 350m elevation gain and loss
Requirements
To join this event, you need to be a relatively fit hiker. No previous snowshoeing experience needed.

If you are traveling from Zurich by public transport, we recommend you the following:
- Zurich HB 14:38 - 16:43 Klosters, Monbiel Parkplatz (via Landquart and Klosters Platz)
- Klosters Platz 22:22 - 00:48 Zurich HB (via Schiers and Landquart)
We will find space in cars to take everyone back to Klosters Platz at the end of the hike so you can catch the train.

You’ve been wanting to try a snowshoe tour for a long time? Then here’s your chance. On this easy tour, Tatjana will show you everything you need to know for a snowshoe hike. You’ll get to know the equipment and walking techniques, learn what to watch out for in winter terrain, and discover tips and tricks to help make your snowshoe tours a success.
This trip is led by Tatjana Probst, mountain leader.
Event description
Meet Tatjana at Alt St. Johann (Sellamattbahn) at 10:15. Together, you will take the cable car up to Sellamatt and start this beautiful tour. You will be hiking at the foot of the Churfirsten, the 7 impressive limestone peaks that drop steeply into Walensee on the other side. You will hike all the way up to a gorgeous plateau and then make your way back down.
