Monkeys Connect (the “Organiser”) legally operates under CK Stories GmbH, an outdoor event company registered in Switzerland. Monkeys Connect (the “Organiser”) provides organised activities (the “Events”) to interested individuals (the “Participant”).
By booking or participating in an event, the Participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agrees to the Monkeys Connect Terms and Conditions.

Terms of payment
The full amount has to be paid upon booking.
Cancellation policy
If the Participant cancels his/her booking:
- 30 days prior to the Event start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the Event cost applies.
- Less than 30 days prior to the Event start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the Event cost applies.
The Participant can sell his/her booking to another interested party who meets the fitness requirements of the particular Event. In this case, the Organiser is entitled to an Administration Fee of CHF 30.
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any Event for any reason whatsoever. In the event of cancellation by the Organiser, the Participant will be offered an alternative Event or a full refund. However, this will not apply for cancellations due to force majeure (adverse weather conditions, war, strikes, earthquake, flooding, epidemic, etc). The Participant is responsible to have adequate insurance to cover these circumstances.
Event changes by the Organiser
The Participant is aware that the conduct of outdoor events depends on uncontrollable external factors, particularly weather conditions. In this regard, the Organiser has the full right to change the itinerary prior to or during the Event or to cancel as deemed necessary for reasons of unforeseen circumstances, operational concerns, or concerns for the health, safety, enjoyment, or comfort of the Participants of the Event. Any changes are at the discretion of the Organiser.

Join us for this avalanche course at Ibergeregg.In order to enjoy the mountains safely all year round, reading the terrain you’re playing on and understanding the avalanche danger is a must. With all winter sports that take you outside of the secured slopes and paths (snowshoeing, off-piste skiing, ski touring, etc.), one has to not only understand and prevent the danger, but also be equipped and ready to respond in case of an accident. Under the instruction of an international mountain leader, you will learn the basics of avalanches and how to properly use a transceiver, probe and shovel.
This trip is led by Céline Kahn, international mountain leader.
Event description
We meet at Restaurant Passhöhe, Ibergeregg, at 09:00, and start with some theory.
After approx. 2-3 hours of theory and a picnic or lunch at the restaurant (up to you), we head out and use the terrain to do various exercises in the snow.
At the end of the day, you will be able to:- Read, understand and make use of the avalanche bulletin
- Understand the 3-by-3 method to plan your snowshoe or ski tours safely
- Measure the slope inclination on the terrain
- Identify the different avalanche types
- Run group checks to make sure all transceivers in the group are up and running
- Rescue avalanche victims using your transceiver, probe and shovel
Avalanche knowledge is not something you learn in one day, it requires a lot of practice. During this basic course, you will be given the tools needed to keep learning and practicing the skills acquired.

---With today's technology, it has become so easy to spend time in the mountains without any navigation skills. All the apps and modern tools that now exist are amazing and it would be a shame not to use them, however, it's also really important to be able to be in the mountains without them.
During this snowshoe hike by the famous and stunning Mythen, the focus will be on learning or getting a refresher about how to use basic navigation tools: map, compass, landmarks...
This trip is led by Celine Kahn, international mountain leader.
Event description
We will meet at 09.00 at Brunni SZ, Rest., inside the restaurant for the briefing and first part of the course. Brunni bus stop. The focus of the day will be to improve your navigation skills. For that, the day will be split into stages, alternating walking times and various activities.
Stage 1: Introduction of the navigation tools
Learn to read the map with its main features and legend, plan our itinerary, understand the compass.
Stage 2: Where am I?
Locate yourself on the map using landmarks around you.
Stage 3: What is around me?
Knowing where you are on the map, identify the summits and other features around you using your map and compass. Learn to read your surrounding landscape.
Stage 4: Find your way without visibility
Using our compass and azimuth bearings, we will play some games to practice having to move on a terrain without any visibility (snow, fog...).Technical information
