Indoor Bouldering for all levels - Schlieren

Kletterzentrum Gaswerk Schlieren

Some outdoor activities can also be practiced indoors, and this is why we love to go indoor bouldering whenever we can!

Indoor bouldering is a perfect place to start or improve your level safely and with almost no pre-requirements (except for the shoes and maybe some chalk).

Whether it’s your first time or you are a bouldering veteran, tag along to have some fun together, meet new people and maybe learn something new. We are no instructors but we’re happy to introduce you to this activity and to share our knowledge with you 🙂

We meet at Kletterzentrum Gaswerk Schlieren, near the fireplace in the dining area, at 6 pm. If you arrive later, you will find us in the bouldering area “Boulder II” on the first floor.

The entry fee for bouldering is CHF 28.50 and shoe rental is an additional CHF 9.

We look forward to seeing you!

Imagine- your feet on a wild mountain trail breathing in fresh oxygen and beauty that comes in the form of views, sounds & smells.. standing in the awe of mountain majesty, taking it all in with your eyes and heart.

Witnessing the most beautiful show on Earth: the sound of running streams far below, the melody of peaceful cowbells in a meadow, a profound light heating up your face as the sun goes down...the smell of fresh nature and a cool crisp breeze on your body and indescribable view that is almost hard to absorb.

Do you believe that this splendor can truly exist?

Welcome to Mountain Stream 4 day trekking and mindfulness experience in the Swiss Alps.

This event is hosted and led by Ruta Mikulenaite, one of our Touring Monkeys’ partners.

What's the plan?
Every day we will hike for 5-6 hours with a stable pace, take time for being, enjoy the views, practice mindfulness, and eat outside.

Once you register, you will receive a detailed list of things to pack and how to dress for this trek.

In 4 days we will hike, and explore mountain lakes, glaciers, wildflowers, valleys, and ourselves. We will stay in magnificent and authentic Swiss mountain homes/hotels in the middle of the nature wilderness. Each place is different and authentic in its own way.

We will start in the village of Stechelberg and finish here too but arriving from a completely different angle.

Have you ever dreamed of crossing the entire mountain range and ending up in a completely secluded different valley where the only sound you hear is your breath and mountain streams? (oh, and perhaps the sound of marmottes too..)

Approximate effort per day: 7-10 km,[masked]m up,[masked]m down.

Day 1: After getting to know each other, we will go to discover the surroundings of the local villages and soak it in the first majesty of the mountains.

Night 1-2 we will stay in an authentic swiss B&B that feels like you are at your grandma's place...

Day 2: We will go further on the adventure and explore deeper the valley, soaking in the views

Day 3: After hiking further through the valley and climbing a peak, we will stay in a secluded Mountain House in the midst of Stechelberg Valley, full of waterfalls and well-hidden beauty. Not many people know this place yet. It is known for hospitality and remoteness, in the evening there is no electricity here...

Day 4: After breakfast, we will go to the end of the valley to explore mountain glaciers and a very wild lake at 2500m a.s.l.

We will hike through multiple waterfalls and soak in gorgeous views before returning to civilization. (sorry...)
