What we’re about

Road trip to the beach!

We are lucky in Brisbane to be surrounded by so many fabulous locations of beaches, mountains, islands and more. The catch is that some aren't the easiest to get to and that's where we come in with our private bus :) Each trip we run will be a private tour in our air conditioned min bus, departing from Roma St Brisbane and taking you every step of the way. We do promise to keep our tours at a very affordable price (usually around $70).

So we will all be together for the whole day and you won't have to worry about following directions, parking or having your car pool driver not turn up.

Some of our more popular destinations include Byron Bay, Noosa and Stradbroke Island. But keep an eye for Cabarita Beach as that's a new spot that you definitely want to go exploring!

Please note that to attend one of our trips you must sign up at our website, RSVPing on meetup is not enough. We can only fit 11 people per trip, so we need to make sure people are confirmed and we have a full bus to keep our prices down.

Have you been to Cabarita Beach? After doing all of these tours, Cabarita beach is genuinely the most picturesque beach we have found. It was voted Australia’s best beach in 2020; but apart from that I think the people there like keeping it a secret. One of the appeals of Cabarita is it’s definitely on the quiet side, whilst still having a few handy shops and eateries. But we have a couple of stops first in the morning before we arrive at Cabarita.

First up we are off to Currumbin Valley for a brunch stop. You may know the ocean end of the Currumbin Creek, but have you seen the other end? The road along the Currumbin creek and the creek itself both end in the mountain range, and it’s such an idyllic mountain, valley & forest destination, with a cafe befitting such surroundings. Picture a cafe that grows all it’s own food and that’s how you would describe Currumbin Valley Harvest. They don’t actually grow all their own food, but it is nonetheless an incredible stop if you like homegrown style organic food with an emphasis on sustainability.

The next stop is Murwillumbah; an inland town on the Tweed River. Murwillumbah is a quaint town with a historical ambiance, 100 years ago when you would travel by boat rather than car Murwillumbah was a big deal! It’s the op shopping here though that’s the main attraction and not only the op shop but a surprisingly good range of unique, local boutique shops you won’t find in the local Westfields; here’s an example: https://chantillylaceboutique.com/

Our last stop of the day is the terrific Cabarita Beach, which, if you’re trying to avoid the crowds, would be very hard to beat as a picturesque beach. There is a walk up to Nobbies Point here offering breathtaking panoramic views all the way to Byron Bay in the distance. Or you may just like to lay on the beach or go for a swim. Then it will be time to return back to Brisbane.
