Oyez, oyez!
On the twelfth day of October, being set free from all servile labour in honour of the landfall of Cristoffa Corombo, certain of our company do purpose to repair unto the village of Petite Lyon for a day of frivolity and card-play.
We intend to intersperse our gaming with the sampling of local wares and delicacies. There may be played any of the most esteemed games from across Europe: Triumphs (after both the French and Italian manners), Trappola from Venice, Maw from Scotland, Noddy from England, or Saunt from Spain.
Whosoever desireth to join in our play need have no misgiving for lack of skill, for we are right eager and willing instructors. Seek us near the pennant of our guild by the Jousting List, at such hours as shall subsequently be posted here.
