Saturday Badminton @ MULBERRY SPORTS Centre (9am - 11am) - INTERMEDIATE+

Welcome to our thrilling Saturday badminton meetup at Mulberry Sports & Leisure Centre in Tower Hamlets.

We're a friendly group of badminton enthusiasts with players of varying levels. With 4 top-quality courts and Chao Pai feather shuttles, we ensure an incredible experience.

If it's your first session, please message Peter on Meetup or on 07561 100 413 with your full name and phone number for our records. It's easier to communicate by text/WhatsApp and we usually aim to send a message if you're added to the attending list within 24 hours of the session, in case you miss the Meetup notification.

Our approach is laid-back and friendly. Feel free to join any available court and have a game. Just remember to leave the court promptly after your game to give other people a chance to play. It's good badminton etiquette to skip the next free court before playing again to give everyone a fair chance to play. Don't worry about the shuttles either—they're conveniently placed between each court, and you're welcome to grab a new one if necessary.

INTERMEDIATE+
Attention: intermediate level players or higher, please! To maintain a steady flow of enjoyable matches, it's essential that you play at the right level. If your skills aren't at the appropriate level, you may be asked to sit out the session.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Racket Hire: £1 per session
• Facilities: Changing rooms and showers available
• Parking: Parking is available at the venue, to the left when facing the entrance. Street parking is available on some nearby roads (e.g. Philpott Rd, Turner St) as restrictions end on Friday at 5:30pm. Please check carefully before parking as we cannot be held liable for any parking fines.
• Refreshments: There is a Tesco on Commercial Road where you can buy drinks/snacks

Guests:
You can bring up to 1 guest by adding them to your RSVP.

RSVP Rules:

• If you're on the attending list 24 hours before the session, attendance is expected.
• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur charges if your spot isn't taken by someone else.
• Cancellations within 3 hours will be charged the session fee, even if your place is taken by someone else (excluding those added from the waiting list within 24 hours).
• Outstanding fees must be paid before attending another session.
• If you're on the waiting list and can no longer attend, kindly remove yourself.
• Members are responsible for their guests and liable for their fees in case of a no-show.
