Please Note: You must submit a completed application and membership fee via online, by mail, or in person before you are approved to join this Meetup Group. Please read on for more info! We ask that you create a Meetup id that is either your first and last name, first name and last initial, or last name and first initial so fellow members can recognize you. Please DO NOT USE just your first name as your meetup id.
Yearly Membership (Jan-Dec) for new and returning members is $20 ($21 for online application).
For brand new first time members joining between Aug-Dec, membership is $10 ($11 for online application) for the remainder of the current year.
Membership is open to all women ages 18 and older.
TOWN is an offshoot of the Texas Parks & Wildlife's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program. The Austin TOWN group was founded in 1997.
Our mission is to provide all women the opportunity to learn and experience outdoor activities in natural surroundings through a safe and supportive environment.

If you're interested in joining the group, please complete a membership application form and submit payment. Membership forms are always available at meetings and usually at outings. OR you may link here to apply online or to download the form from our webpage. We welcome all women over 18 years of age.
The yearly (calendar year) fee pays for our monthly meeting room rental, Meetup group, website, as well as some membership outings (examples: annual picnic/cook-out in a local park in October, as well as our holiday party in January).
