Summer is coming.
Have you decided your Memorial day long weekend plan yet? Do you want to make friends in this early summer music festival, to get ready for another summer?
The Boogie music festival, held in the weekend before Memorial Day, could be one of south bay's longest civic festivals. It started in 1978 to celebrate the fruit growing industry of then Campbell, (yes, the Prune Yard is a real prune yard), then gradually became today's music festival.
The festival draws about 30-50k each year, 5 stages of live entertainment, food, drinks etc., with line dancing, costume contests, and a Battle of the Bands on Sunday. Voted one of the South Bay's Best Festivals.

You must register using the above link to act as a volunteer, the benefits include Free T-shirt, one free drink ticket, sandwich lunch, and a volunteer appreciation party later on. The suggestion is to stay off the tear down shift if you are not a veteran.

Date: 12pm May 16
Schedule:
12 - 12:30pm Arrival and Get to know each other
12:30 pm Peripheral Walk of the festival, know the grounds
12:45 pm Connection game, then group out.
1:30 - 1:45pm First regroup
Then find a big table, optional regroup, enjoy the festival
5:30pm After shift group dinner
For volunteers who do shifts on Sat. afternoon, we have group dinner after the shift ends around 5pm.
