Book your site in Dogwood Loop. Big Pine is full. There is another loop but it is way far away from Dogwood. If you’ll book there, be prepared to drive to host site events in Big Pine.

Daingerfield is a small but really beautiful State Park about 2-3 hours east of Dallas, on the western edge of the piney woods of east Texas. It has a beautiful 80 acre spring fed lake with a swim beach. Rent a paddle boat, paddle board, canoe, john boat or kayak to explore. There is a fishing pier and bait is sold in the park. Fish for crappie, bass, catfish, perch or chain pickerel. Hike two loops, one goes all the way around the lake.
