Description:

In this presentation, we will examine and analyze Nietzsche’s life, methodology, and central philosophical/psychological concepts as they apply to practical issues of self-development, personal growth, self-actualization, and power in a world on the verge of collapse.

We will explore Nietzsche’s understanding of the nature of leadership, how one achieves responsibility, and how one exercises authority while aspiring to nobility.

We will critically examine how Nietzsche’s search for the heroic in a world without gods is based on his critique of the western moral tradition and its transvaluation.

We will examine the meaning of becoming, wholeness, character, and greatness in a post-modern world that, though radically different from Nietzsche’s, remains embedded in and determined by the Will to Power, whether we like it or not.
