Jon von Tetzchner, an industry veteran and a successful entrepreneur, has been involved with the Web over two decades now and built a global business from only an idea. He along with his colleague Geir Ivarsoy founded Opera browser in 1995 and went on to pioneer mobile web with more than 350 million users and over 750 employees across the world.
After being with Opera for 17 years, Jon founded his new company Vivaldi Technologies in 2013. Launched in 2016, Vivaldi web browser adapts to its users. It takes browsing to the next level with its numerous features that give users a more dynamic experience of the web. Vivaldi also offers a thriving community site that includes a forum, blogs, chat, photo sharing and free email service.
