Quantum Computing Skepticism
Details
I argue that quantum computers are not physically possible. That even if they are possible, the engineering challenges cannot be overcome. That even if they can be built, they will have no practical use. And even if they turn out to have practical use, they will make the world worse.
I may not convince anyone, but I hope to at least sharpen your beliefs.
Speaker Roger Schlafly was a U Chicago Math instructor, 1980-83. I have worked in cryptography, and now AI. I do not work in quantum computation as I regard it as a complete waste of time.
