P is for The Last Princesses of Punjab @ Kensington Palace
Detaylar
“This exhibition reveals a story of courage, identity and resistance told through the lives of extraordinary women. Presenting it within Kensington Palace – where Queen Victoria spent her childhood – gives us a rare opportunity to reflect on their intertwined histories, and to present objects that speak to both a global story and the personal stories of these women” -
Polly Putnam, curator of collections for the Historic Royal Palaces,
Join us at Kensington Palace to discover the story of the Punjabi princess and suffragette icon Sophia Duleep Singh and of five women who shaped her extraordinary life. This is also a great opportunity to explore the birthplace of Queen Victoria and the home of young royals for over 300 years, including the magnificent King's State Apartments and Queen's State Apartments.
