What we’re about

Trading Blitz (tradingblitz.com) has stepped in to keep this group running. We will continue to host meetings to discuss investments according to the CAN SLIM methodology. Since CAN SLIM involves basic technical analysis, we will also be hosting discussions on technical analysis and organizing free trading tournaments on our trading simulator for bragging rights (and possibly prizes). The simulator is free to use in case you want to start practicing ahead of our first competition. The simulator can be accessed via our website or mobile apps. Note: The website version has many more features.

History: The Boston Investor/Trader Meetup Group was initially formed to learn and discuss the CAN SLIM investing style developed by William J O'Neil, founder of the Investor's Business Daily (IBD) newspaper. This group was sponsored by IBD until Dow Jones purchased IBD and eliminated its sponsorship.
