Welcome to the printmaking workshop using tetrapak. Printmaking is a distinct visual language in which the image is constructed indirectly — through incision, pressure, and repetition. Tetrapak offers an unexpectedly precise and accessible entry point into this tradition. As a material, it is immediate, responsive, and capable of producing refined graphic results, making it particularly suitable for a first encounter with printmaking.

In this workshop, led by guest artist Paul Guenot we will be introduced the fundamentals of the technique, guided through the different stages of printmaking alongside references to artists who have worked extensively with printmaking as a medium, including Käthe Kollwitz, William Kentridge, Stanley William Hayter, and Hokusai.

Bienvenidos al taller de grabado utilizando tetrapak. El grabado es un lenguaje visual propio en el que la imagen se construye de manera indirecta — a través de la incisión, la presión y la repetición. El tetrapak ofrece un punto de entrada sorprendentemente preciso y accesible a esta tradición. Como material, es inmediato, sensible y capaz de producir resultados gráficos refinados, lo que lo hace especialmente adecuado para un primer acercamiento al grabado.

En este taller, dirigido por el artista invitado Paul Guenot, nos introduciremos en los fundamentos de la técnica, recorriendo las distintas etapas del proceso de grabado, junto con referencias a artistas que han trabajado extensamente con este medio, como Käthe Kollwitz, William Kentridge, Stanley William Hayter y Hokusai.
