Traditional Hatha Yoga

## Details
Join us for our weekly donation based Traditional Hatha Yoga practice. It honours the roots of this ancient tradition. Open to all levels, this session is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, find balance, and experience a sense of calm and community.
The practice begins and ends with meditation and pranayama (breathwork) to center the mind and calm the nervous system. In between, we will move through a balanced sequence of asanas (postures) to energise, strengthen, and restore. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner, the class is thoughtfully tailored to meet everyone’s needs.
Hatha yoga is not a flow-based practice. After flowing through the Hatha Suryanamaskar (a traditional sequence of postures performed with steady breath awareness) the Hatha sequence focuses on holding postures with breath awareness, allowing us to find meditation in each asana while cultivating strength, stability, and mindfulness. Howeverepending on the vibe we may introduce a gentle flow.
We meet in a cozy residential space, creating an intimate and welcoming environment. After the session, you are welcome to stay for a healthy tea and snack. This a lovely opportunity to connect, ask questions, share reflections, and enjoy the warmth of our small community. We are available to answer questions and help develop your practice.
