The Mournes
Details
Kick off the new year with a trip to the Mournes.
Meeting at Meelmore Lodge.
Hike will be approx. 20km with 1300m ascent.
Provisional route: Meelmore Lodge - Hares Gap - Slievenaglogh - Commedagh - Donard - Cove - Slievelamagan - Reservoir - Hares Gap - Meelmore Lodge.
There are also options to cut short.
GPX can be given if required.
Please note, this is a tough hike and the pace will be fast, so more suited to regular hikers with the Blazers.
Weather will be reviewed closer to the time and the hike adjusted / relocated if required.
