Walking part of the Lough Derg Way, sub 40klm

Meeting at the marina Fri evening the 12th for a few nibbles then chilling by the marina for the night.
This hike is out and back so we crossed the Arra mountains twice just for the craic.
Lunch in Killaloe the half way point then return to Garrykennedy for dinner in Larkins followed by a couple of creamy pints in Ciss Ryans, maybe a bit of music to round off the night. Although camping in not permitted at the marina the alternatives are Air B&B or for those who have a "carbed" then sleeping in the car bed is a good alternative for the adventurous spirit 🤪
There is a shower block and toilet facilities onsite. I will provide the access card to use same.
As always pack for the hills and liquids and nibbles of choice.
