Details

This scenic hike winds through Kent's stunning countryside, taking you past three historic castles, a grand manor house, rivers, woodlands, and rolling terrain. The route connects two charming villages: the National Trust-preserved Chiddingstone, Penshurst with its distinctive Tudor architecture.

The trail offers opportunities to pass through three notable historic sites. Hever Castle features extensive restoration work, Anne Boleyn heritage, Tudor history, and formal Italian gardens. Chiddingstone Castle presents a more intimate setting with diverse art collections. Penshurst Place showcases medieval architecture as one of England's finest manor houses.

This hiking route combines natural beauty with rich history, making it ideal for hikers interested in both countryside scenery and cultural heritage sites along the way.
** Please note that we are not going inside the Castles
