(This experience with friends requires entering a state park for $6 per car with two to eight people or $4 per car with driver only.)

When you arrive at Wekiwa Springs State Park and encounter a line, go to the chat on this page to determine what your chances are, how long we can delay before embarking, etc.

We'll launch our kayaks together from Wekiwa Springs State Park by driving to the FAR END of the main parking lot and walking our kayaks through the Picnic Area to the Canoe Launch where we meet at 3:30 (follow the signs). Don’t hesitate to call my cell if you can’t find your way: 407-538-0523

Anyone who wants to rent a kayak, canoe or paddleboard, go to the Concessions Building. They will direct you to Canoe Beach. I've uploaded a picture of the price list for the Park's Kayak Rentals.

We'll paddle to Wekiva Island where we'll order dinner from Wekiva Island's renown food truck, Without A Paddle Cafe (I recommend the Basil Fries!).

Each paddler can return to Wekiwa Springs State Park separately, but I'll return with those still lingering between 6:30 and 6:45PM.

A paddle down Wekiva feels like a real escape to nature. We'd love to enjoy your company!

WHAT TO BRING:

Shoes for getting wet.

Clothing for paddling.

Clothing for dinner (if you = ) get wet paddling and you can't stand wet underwear!)

Towel.

$6 entrance fee to Wekiwa Springs State Park for cars with two to eight persons OR $4 per car with driver only.

$$ for dinner and a drink.

(Better leave the dog at home for this one, unfortunately, due to Wekiva Island's rules.)
