45km Hiking - 5 Peaks (Bulamsan → Suraksan → Sapaesan → Dobongsan → Bukhansan)

The Five Peaks hike (Bul-su-sa-do-buk) is one of the most famous and challenging hiking routes in South Korea. It's a true test for hikers who love adventure and want to push their limits.

The route connects five mountains north of the Han River: Bulamsan → Suraksan → Sapaesan → Dobongsan → Bukhansan, with a total distance of about 45 km. Along the way, you will climb steep hills, walk across rocky ridges, and enjoy amazing views of the city and nature.

This hike takes around 18 to 20 hours, including breaks. It is very tough and recommended for experienced hikers. You need to be ready both physically and mentally to keep going for such a long time. But it’s also fine to hike just one or two peaks, depending on your condition.

When you complete this Five Peaks hike, you will feel a huge sense of achievement and pride. It’s an unforgettable experience for anyone who truly loves the mountains.

We will meet at Hwarangdae Station (Exit 2) and hike through the night and into the next day, finishing at Bulgwang Station(Line 3). Everyone must bring their own gear, such as water, food, and a headlamp.
