Homyeongsan & Homyeong Lake Hike (10km, 800 ascent, near Gapyeong)

January 10th we’re heading to Cheongpyeong for a hike. The hike is 10km and has 800m of ascent, so similar to going up Baekundae in Bukhansan National Park. There should be nice views of the surrounding valleys and Heomyeong Lake!
Meet at 08:00 Sangbong Station (상봉역)
We'll take the 08:30 train heading toward Chuncheon.
We'll hike Homyeongsan, Gichabong and Homyeong Lake which sits around 500 m up in the mountains. After descending down to Sangcheon village, we can get a train back to Seoul from Sangcheon Station.
Bring !!crampons!! because it’ll be icy and snowy. Take poles if you use them. Bring some food and come in a good mood.
