Trail & Table #5: Ferment. Fire, Flavour- Inside the Taproom

Details
This week, we gather where things brew quietly—in steel vessels, in small decisions, in the corners of a taproom most don’t ask to see.
Iron Goat’s story starts with a locked shack in the woods and a stubborn trust in taste over trend. Years later, their brewing process still leans toward the tactile, the seasonal, the slow. Over 150 beers have come and gone—some remembered, some not—but the rhythm remains.
We’ll be hosted for a quiet walkthrough by the taproom manager. No hype. Just a chance to notice what normally stays hidden: the steam, the grain, the tuning of flavor over time. We’ll listen, sip, maybe ask something that doesn’t have an easy answer.
There’s no cost to attend, but we encourage you to either leave a small tip for our guide or buy a beer—or both. It’s a simple way to honor the time and craft being shared.
As always, Trail & Table isn’t about events. It’s about being present—with a place, a process, and each other.
