Kent Forest Trail - Saturday 27 September

Details

Join us as we explore a route of outstanding beauty across orchards, woods, and picture postcard villages in Kent. Our trail will take us through scenic Cobham Park, once walked by Charles Dickens who lived nearby.

From there we will cross the North Downs, hiking through the area's magnificent forests. The trail will take us as far as the mysterious lost village of Dode, abandoned in the 14th century.

On our way back we will stop by picturesque Holly Hill, the highest point of the walk. And then we will finish with an exploration of a vineyard that is one of the country's largest.

Meeting place: London Victoria train station - inside the station, near Oliver Bonas (No. 51). It is not far from platforms 10 and 11. https://assets.nationalrail.co.uk/e8xgegruud3g/7f9eXZybtdNWqJ00in4YMD/8d957af1a5c4b5933704001cdae01271/CCS0723844574-001_London_Victoria_Station_Map_2023v1.pdf
