Join us on a scenic trail across the forests and rocky outcrops of Eridge. Located in the Kent-Sussex borderland, the area's scenery has been attracting sightseers since the 17th century. It was King James II who made the woodlands here a resort after admiring the beautiful sandstone crags.

Our hike will take us past the cliffs for which the area is famed and where rare plant species are still to be found clinging on to the bare rock. Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, Eridge is home to isolated species of mosses and ferns that are supported by a local microclimate.

Our trail will take us to the picturesque crags at nearby High Rocks and from there we will pass by historic Groombridge Place, which featured in the film version of Pride and Prejudice starring Keira Knightley.
