As a rare treat, we'll be hiking the little-known Sculpture Loop Trail, dotted with cool sculptures as its name suggests. It's not on any map so only those in the know can find it. It is located close to the Wanaque Reservoir so we'll drop in for a visit there as well!
The Sculpture Loop Trail and the other trails we will hike are on the Northern Jersey District Water Supply Commission's Reservoir Acres in Ringwood, NJ. Although the sculpture part of our hike is only about a 1/2 mile, we'll also be navigating unmarked trails to the water's edge of the Wanaque Reservoir where few get to visit. It will be an easy to moderate 3.5-mile hike with about 650’ of elevation up and down that we'll take at a leisurely pace to enjoy the morning.
