Sorry men, this one is a women-only guided hike led by experienced and capable female TrailBound Project instructors and guides. It's an opportunity for women to connect with other women who share a love for the outdoors and want to forge friendships for future adventures and be a part of the women's outdoor community. It also allows a safe environment to focus on female-centric topics that matter to them.

This hike has a nominal non-refundable registration fee to secure your spot.

We'll be hiking on the Turkey Mountain side of the Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area. Turkey Mountain is the lesser known half of the park allowing us to have more conversation and education on the quieter and less trafficked trails. It will be a 3.5 mile loop-hike with about 500’ of elevation up and down. It's an easy to moderate hike that we'll take at a leisurely pace.

Along the way we will see glacial erratics (huge rocks that shouldn't naturally be there but were transported by glaciers), stone cabin ruins, some great views, and Valhalla Falls. It's a great introduction to Pyramid Mountain, part of the Morris County Parks System which includes other great hiking parks such as Lewis Morris County Park, Mahlon Dickerson Reservation, and Silas Condict County Park.
