A TBP Women's Chapter women-only guided hike led by experienced and capable female TrailBound Project instructors and guides. It's an opportunity for women to connect with other women who share a love for the outdoors and want to forge friendships for future adventures and be a part of the women's outdoor community. It also allows a safe environment to focus on female-centric topics that matter to them.

This hike has a nominal, non-refundable $20 registration fee to secure your spot.

Join the Women’s Chapter for an evening adventure as we chase sunset high above the Delaware River. Our sunset hike up Mount Tammany is approximately 3.5 miles round trip with 1,231 feet of elevation gain and loss. This is a moderate-to-strenuous hike due to the steady climb and rocky terrain, and participants should be comfortable with sustained elevation and uneven footing.

We’ll ascend via the Red Dot Trail in daylight, climbing steadily to one of the most iconic viewpoints in the Delaware Water Gap. At the summit, we’ll take time to refuel, layer up, and settle in as the sun sets over the Delaware River, casting golden light across the ridgelines.

After sunset, we’ll turn on headlamps and descend via the Blue Dot Trail, a less technical route that offers a more gradual return to the trailhead. Hiking out at dusk adds a new dimension to the experience and is a great way to build confidence moving on the trail in lower light conditions together.

Participants must bring a headlamp (with fresh batteries), sturdy footwear, water, snacks, and an extra layer for the summit, as temperatures can drop quickly after sunset.

The parking and hike details are emailed after registration.
