Guided Hike - Cascade Lake

Our events typically fill up at 24 people for guided hikes! You won't see the attendees here on meetup as registrations are on our site but we wanted to let you know that we typically see large outings for all of our events!

This guided hike has a nominal non-refundable $20 registration fee to secure your spot.

The Cascade Lake loop-hike in Warwick's Cascade Lake Park is 3.5 miles and about 500’ of elevation up and down. It's an easy to moderate hike that we'll take at a leisurely pace.

We begin with a relatively flat wander next to Cascade Lake with its peaceful views of the lake and its dam. The trail quickly heads into the woods and steadily up an incline all the way to the ridge where it meets with the Appalachian Trail. We'll be stopping here to enjoy one of our favorite 360-degree views in the entire area. We'll continue along the ridge and take in some other amazing views of Greenwood Lake before we follow the AT as it turns west off the ridge and back into the woods. The second half of the hike brings us back downhill giving us a chance to chat and enjoy our surroundings.
