A TBP Women's Chapter women-only guided hike led by experienced and capable female TrailBound Project instructors and guides. It's an opportunity for women to connect with other women who share a love for the outdoors and want to forge friendships for future adventures and be a part of the women's outdoor community. It also allows a safe environment to focus on female-centric topics that matter to them.

This hike has a nominal, non-refundable $20 registration fee to secure your spot.

Our hike through Cheesequake State Park is approximately 4.5 miles with about 350 feet of elevation gain and loss. This is considered an easy hike with gentle rolling terrain, making it perfect for hikers of all experience levels. We’ll move at a relaxed, conversational pace with time to enjoy the scenery and take in the beauty of the season.

Cheesequake is one of New Jersey’s most unique parks, known for its rare transition zone where northern hardwood forests meet coastal plain ecosystems. In the fall, the landscape becomes especially stunning as the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, filling the trails with vibrant color and peaceful woodland views.

As we make our way through the park, we’ll follow a mix of wooded paths and scenic trails, moving through forested sections, open marsh vistas, and gently rolling hills that showcase the diversity of this remarkable environment. It’s a place where shifting ecosystems meet in a way you won’t find anywhere else in the state, creating a rich and varied hiking experience.

The parking and hike details are emailed after registration.
