What to expect:
the class is about 1.5 hours including the hike or about 45 minutes for just the TRX bootcamp. We meet at the park and start with the workout first. The class is designed for all fitness levels so everyone is welcome to join. Then we do a 30-45 min hike with mini yoga/stretching session at the top of the canyon overlooking the ocean.
What to bring:
You just need to bring a water bottle and a smile :) TRX bands and mats will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own mats if you wish. There is no charge for first time participants so just show up ready for an exhilarating workout and have some fun!
What you'll get:
A great way to meet people in our community who share a passion for fitness and being outdoors. For some of you this could be an opportunity to jumpstart your fitness journey, for others this can be a great addition to your current program, and a fun way to overcome the stale monotonous nature of working out.
A little about me:
For the last 15 years I've specialized in exercise science and outdoor excursions. My goal is to mend the two worlds and motivate folks to get outside and live active healthy lifestyles. I believe in building a strong community that will help and support each other in reaching their goals and beyond. I feel very fortunate to be where I am and the least I can do is share it with my community. I look forward to meeting everyone and sharing some great adventures!
