New Smyrna Beach offers more water experiences than just a beach. And most of it is to be explored by kayak.

Take a three-hour-paddle-tour with your trail homies and your own kayak. We'll venture seven miles through waterways surrounded by mangrove or out on the open waters of the Indian River while mingling ripples with the casual jaunts of other adventure seekers. We'll cross from one side to the other under the 44 Bridge to dock for lunch at the pier near RiverPark Terrace Restaurant, then back to Callilisa Park.

Callilisa Park has free parking and one easily accessible walk-in ramp. (Be sure to notice that the GPS’s destination address is Norwood's; Meetup couldn't find Callilisa Park in its GPS, but it’s a turn right just before Norwood’s.)

It's highly possible to encounter dolphins in the mangroves and the Indian River.

Bring 32 to 50 ounces of water, carbs, protein for the morning.
