EASY OVERNIGHT GETAWAY/HIKE AND CAMP GENEVA WILDERNESS
Details
Meet in the parking lot at 5 PM Friday afternoon to hike in together to one of Seminole County's coziest camp sites. We'll arrive in camp 35 minutes after the 1.5-mile trail takes us past two overlooks of water with plenty of time to set up tents before the sun sets at 6:29 PM.
The campfire will blaze for warmth, viewing and toasting . . . marshmallows and anything else you want toasted.
After breakfast, we'll hike an out-and-back six miles on the Flagler Trail. Learn some history along the way.
OPTION: For those who aren't able to camp with us but want to hike, show up at camp at 8 AM to hit the trail at 8:30 AM.
These campouts are for anyone and especially those who want a safe environment with others to increase his/her comfort level while camping. Campers are always willing to help.
Quiet dogs and children are welcome!
See you in camp!
