NATIONAL TRAILS DAY to the Ditch of Doom
Details
Established by the American Hiking Society, the US Forest Service now establishes as a trail-fee-free day wherever you hike in the United States.
Teri will be your National Trails Day Host on this 9-mile (total) out-and-back hike.
The Ditch of Doom is our gem to discover this Saturday and has been described as one-of-a-kind, a habitat lush and green as one descends into it. The terrain as we hike to the Ditch is oak hammocks and swamp lakes running along the Little Big Econ.
It may be muddy so prepare. Probably buggy, too.
See you on National Trails Day in the Ditch!
