Tucked away along the edges of Tai Po, Tsz Shan Monastery is famously known for its stunning 76-metre-tall white Guan Yin statue. Offering city dwellers a moment of calm and serenity, the site boasts lush greenery and traditional temple structures reminiscent of the Tang Dynasty.

ALL MEMBERS MUST FOLLOW THE RULES WHEN VISITING:

1. A visit to Tsz Shan Monastery is a spiritual experience, so please keep your voices low during your visit to the Monastery so that you do not disturb others unduly. ( NO MUSIC & PHONE MUST BE ON SILENT MODE)

2. Remembering that you are visiting a monastery, please dress appropriately when visiting Tsz Shan Monastery. Sleeved tops, trousers (but not shorts), mid-calf dresses or pants are appropriate.

3. You need to remain hydrated when walking around the Monastery, so bring your own water bottles. There are water dispensers at Tsz Shan Monastery where you may refill them.

4. Cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, meat and seafood are not allowed in Tsz Shan Monastery. But you are welcome to bring in your own vegetarian food and fruit to eat in the Monastery's designated areas.

5. Please be advised that photography or taking videos is not permitted inside the Monastery's halls, but you are most welcome to do this outside the halls.

6. Please do not touch any statues, religious items or plants in the Monastery or its grounds.
