Eccles Pass 11,900' Wildflower Hike!

10 miles RT with 2,800' elevation gain.

A scenic out and back trip into the Eagles Nest Wilderness starting on the Meadow Creek trail and then connecting with the Gore Range trail. The 3rd week in July might be one of the peak weekends to view the wildflowers on the way to this pass. We'll take a longer break at or below the pass for snacks and photography.

Please bring your pack, smart layers, fluids, snacks, and good footwear. Don't forget your sun protection.

We can stop at Outer Range Brewing right across the highway from the TH on the way back for lunch/refreshment.

Carpoolers meet at Wooly Mammoth Section GG at 6:15 to allow for enough time to drive to the Meadow Creek TH. Please comment below if you can drive or would like to ride. If you ride, be good to your driver.
