Chasm Lake Hike

Details

This is one of the nicer lakes in RMNP surrounded by 2 13ers (Meeker & Mt Lady Washington), and Longs Peak. It is a steady grade, nothing super steep, but recent reviews say we may have to pass through a mostly-melted snow field on a steep slant. Bring spikes and poles if you're uncomfortable with that field.

8.8 miles round trip
~2500 feet gain

Dogs not permitted in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Parking along the road, we will not need RMNP passes.
Should take about 5 hours at a moderate pace.

Meet at the trailhead at 7:30am. This is a popular trail head, so expect to park along the road. Parking along the road, you won't need a RMNP pass, and entering before 9 am we won't need a timed entry permit.
