Canyoneering Cross-Post: Ouray Canyon Festival, Training, and Calendar

Details
Hello canyoneering friends,
Wanted to make you aware of some canyoneering items - Ouray Canyon Festival, Training, and Calendar
IMPORTANT: This is a Cross-Post, so if you are interested in any of it, you need to RSVP on the links provided below. This post has nothing to RSVP to.
# 1 - Ouray Canyon Festival:
Just a reminder that the Ouray Canyon Festival is right around the corner, running Aug 6-10. If you are interested, you can find more details and sign up at: https://www.ouraycanyonfestival.org/
Note: The prices will go up after 7/15/25, so sign up soon if you are interested.
If you want to attend the festival, but are having issues finding a place to stay – and you don’t want to risk not getting a walk-in campsite, we just want to let you know that we will have rudimentary camping available at a field with a porta-potty as a backup. Reach out to one of the organizers at the festival for more info. We don’t want folks not to attend thinking they won’t have a place to stay. If you stay at the field, we ask for a donation to help cover costs.
# 2 - Training:
My UberAdventures canyoneering courses are winding down for Boulder, CO – there is still an L1 course on 7/18 and 9/5, and a L2 on 9/13. We will host courses in Grand Junction, CO in October. We will also be doing an L1 course the weekend prior to the Ouray Canyon Festival in Ouray starting 8/2. More info can be found at: https://www.meetup.com/canyoneeringco/events/ and you can sign up at: https://uberadventures.net/events/ (Meetup started charging extra fees, so it's best to sign up at UberAdventures directly.)
# 3 - Calendar:
If you are looking for other canyoneering events, festivals and rondys – here is a new Google Calendar to provide a consolidated view. I added all of the events I knew about, and reached out to other event organizers as well. If you notice any events missing, please let me know (and please let me know who the contact is for the event if you know it.)
Here's a link that you can use to just look at the calendar in a web browser: https://tinyurl.com/SeeCanyonFests
Note: That link should also allow you to add the calendar (as a separate calendar) to your Google Account's Calendar (or copy an event to your personal calendar.)
You can also use this URL to add the calendar to your Google calendar: https://tinyurl.com/AddCanyonFests
If you are an event organizer, and want to add or maintain your own events - please reach out. I'm happy to add you as an editor, so you can add your event, and include any details you would like. You can also see what events are already planned, so event organizers can try to avoid overlapping with other events.

Hope to see you soon!
