Pancake Rocks Moderate

Did this hike a few years ago and it is very memorable. It is just outside Divide,Co. One of my all time favorites. About 6.7 miles and 1700 ft. elevation change. The first part is a butt kicker then it mellows out. Poles will be helpful but not necessary.

The aspens should be peaking down here. Will be a beautiful drive and hike.

Bring snacks and water, dress for the weather. Fido is OK on a leash. Ph#720.288.9313. Parking may be tight. Carpooling recommended. The trailhead is on highway 67. Do not go down Highway 62. Stay on 67 until you see the old mine entrance that is barred up. For people that wish to carpool from Colorado Springs meet at 7:30 in the back of the parking lot at:
